Caribbean

Caribbean.

Mediterranean tradition adapted to coastal palettes — with the versatility of porcelain.

European-inspired hand-crafted subway tile in eight color stories, paired matte and gloss finishes for layered installs that catch and refract light. Vibrant glazes and a hand-thrown character give each piece its own subtle variation, while porcelain construction makes the line rated for indoor and outdoor use across pools, showers, kitchens, and entryways.

One subway. Eight colors. Two finishes. Anywhere it needs to go.

Frequently asked

Yes — that's a defining use of this collection. The matte and gloss share the same body, glaze color base, and dimensions, so they tile cleanly together. Designers commonly run gloss on a feature wall and matte on adjacent surfaces, or alternate them in the same field for a textured pattern. The light-catching contrast is the look.

Roughly, but not identically. Gloss reflects more light, which intensifies the color and shows more variation in glaze pooling and surface character. Matte reads as quieter and slightly more muted. Same color family, different temperature. Sample both finishes of any color you're considering — the difference matters more in person than in photos.

Indoor and outdoor. Floor and wall. Suitable for pools, showers, backsplashes, kitchens, and entryways. Rated PEI 4 (residential floor traffic and light commercial) and frost-resistant. The full coastal lineup — including saturated colors like Night Blue and Coal — is rated for exterior installations including pool surrounds and outdoor shower walls.

Yes. The Mediterranean subway tradition we're drawing from is defined by visible glaze pooling, slight surface irregularity, and color variation tile-to-tile. Caribbean preserves that character on a porcelain body, so the look reads as artisan but installs and performs as porcelain. Some V3 shade variation is normal and expected within each color.

Stocked at distribution under most conditions, but availability shifts by color. Saturated colors like Night Blue and Lavender move quickly. For projects with firm timelines or larger square footage, contact us before specifying so we can confirm current inventory and lead time on your specific colorway and finish.

No. Caribbean is glazed porcelain — the surface is impervious. No sealer is needed on the tile itself. Standard practice for grout (sealing the grout joints, not the tile) still applies in wet areas. Cleaning is standard tile-safe products; the gloss finish in particular wipes clean very easily.

Caribbean is supplied as a 2"x6" field tile. For finished edges, designers typically use a Schluter-style metal trim profile (chrome, brass, matte black depending on the install) or a coordinating bullnose from a complementary collection. Contact us if your project needs a specific trim solution and we'll help spec it.

Typical orders ship within 3-7 business days when in-stock at distribution. Larger projects (300+ sqft) may have a longer lead time depending on the colorway and current inventory. Email us with your project quantity and any timing constraints and we'll come back with a confirmed lead time and reserve stock if needed.
