Nusa draws on the deep artistic heritage of Indonesia. The collection pairs traditional high-temperature firing with a contemporary approach to recycled materials, producing a fully glazed tile that is durable enough for floors and still looks entirely made by hand.

Tiles of Ezra works directly with its artisan partners on glaze development and consistency, refining the collection over years of collaboration without sanding away the handmade character that makes it distinctive. Every tile is inspected against the Tiles of Ezra Standard before it ships.

The result is a surface that feels warm and alive: soft glaze movement, metallic depth that shifts as light moves across a room, and edges that read as formed rather than cut.

Six gloss glazes and one matte metallic, all offered in the 4x4 square. Solea extends into two slim linear formats, 1x8 and 2x8, for borders, stacked layouts, and accents.

Nusa is not meant to look factory made. The qualities below are an expected and celebrated part of the collection, and together they give a finished installation its depth and individuality.

Glaze. Brushed, dipped, or poured by hand, the glaze pools, thins, and reacts as it fires. Expect lighter and darker concentrations, visible stroke patterns, gentle shifts in sheen, and fine pinholes or micro-speckling. Metallic glazes catch the light and change with it through the day.

Surface. Smooth satin areas sit beside textured, cratered, or stippled zones, and some tiles carry raised dots or tactile relief formed during glazing and firing.

Tone. Each tile is fired individually, so a single colorway moves from lighter to deeper across an installation and between production batches.

Shape. Expect small differences in width, length, and thickness, along with edges that are slightly soft or irregular from hand forming.

Handling. Metallic glazes can show fingerprints or handling marks during installation. They wipe away easily with a soft microfiber cloth.
