Can Dunya Stone be used outdoors?
Yes. Dunya Stone is suitable for exterior walls and floors when installed by a qualified tradesperson in line with applicable building codes, industry standards and the Tiles of Ezra Installation Guide. Sealing is required.
Does it need to be sealed?
Yes — as a natural stone, Dunya requires a quality penetrating sealer before grouting and on an ongoing basis. Sealing protects against staining and helps the stone wear gracefully over time.
Will my tiles look like the samples and photos?
Expect variation. Tone, veining, edge profile and surface texture shift from tile to tile and between batches and formats — this is the character of natural stone, not a defect. Where possible, order your full quantity together and dry-lay before fixing.
Is it suitable for showers and wet areas?
Yes — Dunya is rated for UV-resistant shower walls and floors when correctly installed and sealed per the Installation Guide.
